We’re excited to launch our first mosque website in Scotland for Madinah Masjid & Community Centre (MMCC). The masjid is located in Bonnyrigg, Midlothian, they hope to unite the community with a Masjid and community centre that will provide social and religious services.

Once an area of only a handful of Muslims, Midlothian now has a growing Muslim population of over 1000 residents. In the past, due to the far distance of the nearest Mosque, Madrasah classes took place at the local High School and a community hall was used for Taraweeh prayers. Alhamdulillah in 2013 the community got together to purchase a building within Midlothian – Bonnyrigg. The Centre is a hub for the local Muslim Community and also serves as a basis to connect with the Non-Muslim community of Midlothian.
