MCWAS, Sutton is now live

MCWAS or Muslim Cultural Welfare Association of Sutton was established in 1981 to provide a community centre to the Muslims of Sutton. The Association moved into its current premises in 1996 and the centre was fully refurbished in 2013 with the generous funds from the committed community. The founding member of MCWAS was Lal Hussain MBE (late), sadly he passed away in May 2017, may Allah have mercy on his soul and grant him the highest level in Jannah.

The Masjid located on 80 Ruskin Road, Carshalton, Surrey SM5 3DH.

Islamic Centre of Plymouth & Cornwall has gone live

The Islamic Centre of Plymouth & Cornwall is a purpose built mosque and one of the most recognized religious buildings in Devon and Cornwall area, and as a result, a vast number of people from different cultures and backgrounds visit the mosque on a daily basis.

MYG using our platform to reach the youth

Alhamdulilah, our platform is built to serve the community through Masjids, however, Muslim Youth Group from Newbury has found a great way to utalise it’s features to connect with the youths and organise events and services to serve the community. Please see https://myg.org.uk/

Muslim Youth Group established since 2012 and aims to bring Muslim youth together, preferably in the Mosque, at least once a week.

Huddersfield based masjid serving approx. 5,000 community members a month since our establishment back in 1997. The jamia provides teaching of a good standard. It also provides a hifz class were many huffaz have graduated.

Newbury Jamme Mosque goes live

Newbury based masjid serving approx. 1500 community members a month since our establishment back in 2000. A vast number of people from different cultures and backgrounds visit the mosque on a daily basis.

Services include: Funeral, visits and tours, outdoor Eid prayers and helpline for New-Muslims.

Facilities include: Limited car parking and women’s prayer space.

Masjid Bilal, East Ham has gone live

Masjid Bilal in located in East Ham, London and has been serving local community members for over decades.

They are located on Masjid Bilal, 295-97 Barking Road, East Ham, London, E6 1LB and has many facilities for the local Muslim community.

Millat E Islamia, Bradford is now online

Millat E Islamia (https://millat-e-islamia-bfd.uk/) is a community masjid situated on Ivanhoe Road in the heart of Bradford 7, close to the University of Bradford. The masjid has capacity for 800 worshippers, with the Addition of another 200 women On basement level. On average the masjid is used by approximately 600 people every week. Programmes are delivered in the masjid in both English and Urdu.

We have a Wudu facility for both men and women in their own respective floors.

The masjid provides daily namaz and Jumma prayer on Fridays. They also provide weekday education classes for children of ages 6 and above from 4:30 to 6:30 for both male and female children. 

Their key objectives

• To Provide and maintain facilities for worship and prayer (Masjid)

• To provide and maintain facilities for the teaching of young children/adults in the Koran, General Islamic knowledge and languages (Madrasa)

•  To better inform the community of the facilities and services available at the participating masjids;

•  To provide the community with up to date and accurate information about classes and events held at the masjid.

• To stimulate further da’wah (calling people to Allah) in the local area;

• To promote the spirit of cooperation communities and the masjid, as Allah, the Most High, has said: 

”Help one another in piety and righteousness” (Al-Qur’an 5:2);

•To provide social/welfare services for the local Muslim community
